Tsaky Gasy (Malagasy snacks) is a repository for squiblets about Malagasy grammar. These can be small observations that are even too small for a squib or they can be bits that appear in published papers that are fun facts to know. For those of us who work on it, Malagasy is a treasure trove of curiosities. We can talk endlessly about these gems and this page is an effort to share the wealth not only with other linguists but also anyone who is language curious. It is also for Malagasy speakers who, in our experience, are proud of their language, generous with their linguistic insights, and who enjoy hearing about what non-Malagasy speakers find interesting.
